How to Submit...Your Story!
- The co-authors, Juan Galvan and Samantha Sanchez, are still accepting Latino Muslim conversion stories. Contributing authors will have the opportunity to have their stories appear in a book that will touch the hearts of many and help them see the beauty of Islam, insh'Allah.
Get Your Story Published!
- Stories should have a beginning, middle, and an ending. Make us cry, choke us up, make us laugh or say "Mash'Allah" at the end of your story. Your story is important! What can Latinos, Muslims, and nonMuslims learn from you?
- Do you feel that we need to obtain the permission from anyone else to publish your story? Let us know if the material has been previously published. If so, include when and name & address of publication. Advise who owns the copyright along with their contact information.
- The two co-authors will select what to include in the book.
- You may submit several Latino Muslim stories, articles, and poems.
- We will edit for grammar and translate your work to English as needed.
- Include a Bio with your submission.
Your Bio
Let readers know a little about yourself. Include contact information if you want it printed in the book. If requested, your name will remain anonymous.
A typical bio may look like the following:
- Poncho Villa is a <profession or interest>. He's from <city, state>. He enjoys <interests>. He would like to <goals>. He's accomplished <awards>. He may be reached at <address>; e-mail: <e-mail>; Website: <website>.
How to send your story
- Please use our online form to send us your story, questions, comments, and suggestions. You may copy and paste your story into the body area of the online form. Let us know if you would like to submit your story as a MS Word file. Please let us know if you prefer mailing your story to us.
- Submissions can be up to 3 pages.
